Betty Faye Zettler

Betty Faye Zettler, 71, of Tamaroa, passed away at 5:05 p.m., Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at her residence.

Betty was a homemaker.  She had worked as a secretary for Bob Clark Real Estate.  She was a member of White Oak Church in Scheller.

She was born January 1, 1937 at Haxtun, Colo., the daughter of Warren "Bud" and Alberta Violet (Brown) Keller.

She married Dale G. Zettler on November 22, 1954 at Perry County, and he survives.

She is survived by her husband of Tamaroa; seven children, Jerry Dale Zettler and wife Gayle of Bartelso, Pauline Faye Gassel and husband Bill of Du Quoin, Sherry Lee Gassel and husband Larry of Carlyle, Cindy Lynn Bays and husband John of Sesser, Jerry Dale Zettler, Jr. of Carlyle, Tisha Faye Rogers of Fla., and Bobby Joe Zettler and wife Sarah of Du Quoin; two sisters, Violet Kevish of Plainsfield and Donna Whipple of Centralia; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Warren Keller and Larry Keller; and one granddaughter, Haley Marie Zettler.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 17, at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa with Rev. Kevin Carrothers officiating.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.

Burial will be in the Paradise Cemetery at Tamaroa.
